Pan Pan World had conceptualized an idea of an e-commerce platform that will give leverage to the buyers and help consolidate all the products in one marketplace. They were looking for a solution provider who could translate this idea into reality and focus on building a reliable marketplace. The focus for the client was reliability and performance and someone who can build a marketplace taking into consideration the local trends and policies.
Performance of the marketplace was a major point of a concert of the client, hence Adri IT identified the need to make architectural changes to the structure. They also knew that scalability was another point that they had to take into consideration while designing this platform.
The marketplace was made in such a way that there are 3 layers to it, the front end that was made on React, Back-end that has the API, made on Node JS, and a separate database on MongoDB. The admin panel was kept separate as well. Since the frontend and backend are separate, the traffic could be divided which leads to better performance.
The solutions were holistic in view and implementations were done in such a way that performance is not compromised at any level. To ensure performance solutions like having 2 servers, if 1 server is down, the other is up to ensure work gets done and make sure that even if the users increase, the load would only increase on the backend which is managed by Load Balancer in AWS.
