The client came to Adri IT via referral and they were looking for a solution provider for their trucking app. The client already had an app in place but the main issue that TruckO was facing was performance.

The app wasn’t performing to its full potential, it was slow and wasn’t solving basic issues like providing pending payment alerts. This resulted in longer payment cycles, manual entries, and human errors.

Challanges :

The client came to Adri IT via referral and they were looking for a solution provider for their trucking app. The client already had an app in place but the main issue that TruckO was facing was performance.

The app wasn’t performing to its full potential, it was slow and wasn’t solving basic issues like providing pending payment alerts. This resulted in longer payment cycles, manual entries, and human errors.

Solution :

Adri IT identified the need to incorporate immediate changes like Invoice Generation, Ageing, and automated data which can lead to less human intervention and in return reduce errors.

One of the main pain points was the collection of payments which was disrupting the financial cycle and resulting in longer collection cycles. Using a color-coded system to flag off this issue and give alerts to the accounts department the collection cycle was reduced to a range of 0-30 days from 60+ days.

The next implementation was sensitizing the drivers for the app and making them enter all their details via the app. The driver run sheet was automated and all the details were at the tip of your fingers. The reduced dependency on manual work helped scale efficiency and productivity and reduce errors in the data.

Using the app and GPS the tracking of the trucks and manpower also became easier. Driver Follow-up was reduced considerably and initially, 4 employees were devoted to working manually with the drivers, this was reduced to 1 person.

After years of association and consistent performance, TruckO’s backend support is also handled by the Adri IT Solutions team. All the data is automated which helps reduce the backend load, only in cases where the data needs to be verified by the backend team contacts the drivers.

Integration of multiple technologies, less human intervention, and automation has helped make the processes of TruckO more efficient and effective.

Outcome :
  • App performance increased, resulting in more drivers using the app and inputting the data
  • Manual Work was eliminated and all the data and analysis were app generated. The margin of Error was reduced
  • All the details of the trucks and the associated drivers could be managed via the app
  • Invoices were generated via the system and alerts for aging invoices were automatically given to the accounts department
  • Payment collection went from a range of 60-90 days to a minimum of 30 days which resulted in better financial outputs
  • Backend Support was done by Adri IT Solutions reducing the need for TruckO to keep a separate team
